Hello
South America's foremost gathering for global universities to connect with counsellors from key private and international schools.
Bogota
2 & 3 Oct 2025
You could spend months travelling across South America to find the region’s best schools, or you could let BMI bring them to you.
Solidify relationships over two days of networking and holding pre-arranged meetings with the region’s top schools that prepare students for higher education abroad.
We invite participants from only the best private, bilingual and international schools in the region, so you can be sure to meet prospective partners who can send you gifted students with the academic chops and financial wealth to enable them to study overseas. All participating high schools have been selected due to the high numbers of students who advance to post-secondary studies abroad after graduation.
These counsellors actively shape the future study decisions of students and play a pivotal role in their final application process. Attending private elite schools come from a range of profiles such as:
Thanks to BMI’s longstanding history and on-the-ground staff in South America, we are on a first name basis with leaders in the region’s best schools.
Using our local knowledge, we engage with principals and counsellors to invite them to the Forum and explain how meeting with international higher education partners will help them work with parents and counsel students on the next stages of their academic journey.
Each participant has been selected and specifically invited to the event based on their school’s record of students travelling abroad for higher education. On qualifying to attend, BMI pays for their flights to the event, accommodation and all meals.
Get in touch with us for more information on the participating schools.
High school counsellors are also drawn to the Latin & Central America International Schools Forum & Workshop because they can participate in professional development seminars covering key issues such as academic testing, how to improve the counselling process, and navigating various visa procedures. Moreover, this extra academic content and training provides school counsellors and principals with credits towards completing the Times Higher Education Counsellor Accreditation Programme (THE CAP). By completing THE CAP, they will have a globally recognised accreditation and their school will become a THE Accredited Counsellor School.
This compelling programme ensures that we attract the right influencers from secondary schools for you to meet, train and form new relationships with in order to encourage outbound student mobility.
