You will work on requests from various members of the senior management and events team, and due to the nature of the role, you will need to have a flexible & adaptable attitude. You will be working on different projects and events simultaneously and be extremely good at multi-tasking with the need to prioritise your work according to the needs of the business and its clients.

You will be booking worldwide flights and hotels for both UK and overseas individuals and groups, and we are therefore looking for someone who is flexible in working hours and has considerable experience in travel bookings. The role will include the following daily activities:

Corporate Flight & Travel Consultant

A typical day could involve some of the following:

  • Negotiate with travel suppliers to ensure the most cost-effective fares while maximising revenue for the company.
  • Project management and coordination of group travel arrangements for up to 200 people as well as for individuals in the Senior leadership and events management teams.
  • Communicating with delegates and managing any changes required to flight itineraries and hotel bookings.
  • Full account reconciliation and accounting of flights and hotels booked.

 

Role Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in booking flights/groups travel (2+ years).
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • GDS competent (preferably Sabre), ideally educated to BA/VA 1 and 2 standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, team player, with proven ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues across the company.
  • Ability to multitask, work to tight deadlines, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Experienced in handling complex global travel itineraries.
  • Commitment to high-quality customer service by ensuring responses to calls and emails are in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

 

Additional information

  • Hybrid with 4/5 days per month in the office in London. Possibly remote (with some days in the office when necessary) if you have all the skills required.
